Wetsuits work by trapping a thin
layer of water between your skin and the neoprene material. The body heat from
the diver warms the water and thus keeps the scuba diver warm. Our Semi Dry
Wetsuit have extra layer of Deluxe Lining that provide extra warm. Choose one
which is snug but not too tight. 6mm wetsuits will suit most conditions in
Australia, 3mm wetsuits or less are ideal for the tropics.
Our suggestion is always buy a wetsuit slightly warmer than your needs. If your
wetsuit is keeping you too warm you can always let water in to cool you down,
but if you are cold during a dive there is not much you can do except stop
diving.
One-piece wetsuits VS two-piece wetsuits – As general rule two-piece wetsuits
will keep you warmer than one-piece wetsuits since a two-piece wetsuit has the
advantage of double the insulation around your chest and groin area. Of course
when a wetsuit has double the insulation the suit is more restricting and will
be more buoyant (which means that you will need to carry more lead) than a
one-piece wetsuit of equal thickness.
But the New Semi Dry Suit have wrist seals and ankle seals which trapping the
water within the body. From many positive reviews it is better warmer than the
two-piece wetsuits.
Our scuba wetsuits have these range: shorty wetsuit, spring wetsuit, titanium wetsuit vest, long john wetsuit, semi dry wetsuit, full wetsuit etc. If you need advice or assistance to choose the correct wesuit for your need or simply have some enquiry, please call us on 02 98724494 or email your name and contact number at customerservice@clicktobuy.com.au and we will contact you shortly.
